November 2nd was a rainy day at Patton Valley. They released the 2006 Lorne Marie to club members a few weeks early.

OktoberFest

We went to Mt. Angel Friday for Oktoberfest. It was Tuck's first Oktoberfest and he ate the whole time (much like the rest of us).

Swim Lessons

The girls just finished their swim lessons for the summer. Both girls did well. Emma enjoyed it so much she is thinking about joining the Forest Grove swim club.

We went to Carol and JD's camp ground near Detroit lake and the kids played pretty hard. This picture was taken about 5 minutes after we left.

Concours time agian

The girls and I went to the Concours de Elegance again this year. Grandpa Russ was able to join us and it was a great day for it.

Spring Break Snow

With the unusually late snow so close to home we decided to take the kids through Gales Creek and Timber to Camp 18 for lunch. We first saw snow just west of Gales Creek about 10 minutes outside of Forest Grove. These pictures were taken at Camp18 where we ate lunch.

The BV Birthday

For my birthday we had some friends over for dinner. Andy brought over some BV Napa, we pulled out a BV Rutherford and for the big dog, Laurie gave me a bottle of 1992 BV Georges De Latour! It was the Beaulieu Vineyard Cabernbet birthday.

What a difference a couple of weeks makes

In early February we had snow at the house and by the 14th the first of our bulbs were blooming in the front yard.

With the clear skies and cold weather we decided to take the girls skiing. By the end of they day they were masters of the bunny hill.

It was hard to beleive it was October when we carved pumpkins this year. It was such a nice day we took the pumpkins outside to the picnic tables.

2007 Forest Grove Concours d'Elegance

This summer the girls and I wandered over to Pacific University for the annual Concours d'Elegance. It was fun but hot!
